BA International Biennale for the Artist’s Book
The Bibliotheca Alexandrina’s International Biennale for the Artist’s Book, which began in 2002, exemplifies art as a means of communication and dialogue. The event is held every two years. Each round is different than the last in terms of goals. At the end of every round, the BA keeps the work of the participating artists. These works have accumulated over the years to form a special and diverse art collection. Within the framework of the Biennale, a number of art workshops are held in cooperation with some of the BA’s counterparts to introduce the public to the Artist’s Book.
